Every facade job with us begins with an honest survey of the existing condition. The surface is cleaned, and loose or chalking old coatings are removed. We open up cracks and seal them permanently, while damaged render is repaired or renewed. Only once the substrate is sound and primed does the actual painting begin.
This step is unspectacular – but it decides everything. A carefully prepared wall carries the coating for years; a poorly prepared one will let even the most expensive paint flake off again.

For multi-storey facades scaffolding is usually required and is included in the quote. For lower buildings a ladder or work platform is often enough.
Dry spells with moderate temperatures are ideal – above all spring and autumn. In high summer we paint early in the day to avoid the direct midday heat.
